Position: Senior Research Fellow

About Us: INCLEN is unique global network of clinical epidemiologists, biostatisticians, health social scientists, health economists and other health professionals affiliated with key academic health-care institutions. We are dedicated to improving the health of disadvantaged populations by promoting equitable health care based on the best evidence of effectiveness and the efficient use of resources.We achieve this by using the network to conduct collaborative, inter-disciplinary research on high-priority health problems. 

The INCLEN is undertaking an international collaborative project “Influenza Immunization of children in India”on at IIGH (Laboratory), New Delhi. 

Job Description/Responsibilities: 
The incumbent is expected to perform the following tasks; 
• Implementation of study protocol and SOPs
• To provide quality assurance of laboratory data collection including to training of the research staff and laboratory data collection and management
• You will assist laboratory procedures and activities
• You will support staff such as laboratory Senior Research Officers, Research Officer, Laboratory Assistants and Lab Technicians in their routine laboratory activities
• It may involve travel to field for data collection and/ or quality assurance and/ or any project related activities
• Any other activities that are agreed upon by the Professors Director Laboratory Science at the institution and collaborator, respectively

Qualification: 
Essential Qualification:
• M.Sc. (Life Science) with 2 years of research experience.

Desirable skills: 
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Preferable having experience in the field of Medical Virology and hands on experience of Molecular Biology techniques including real time PCR.
• Good computer skills and excellent communication fluency in English (verbal and written). 

Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Note: The research experiences mentioned above includes experiences as a research worker in any institutions supported by a certificate by the Head of the institution.
