International federation which is active in more than 40 countries across the
world and is committed to fighting poverty and injustice. In India, we have
been working since 1972. We currently operate out of 12 Regional Offices
spread across 24 States and 1 Union Territory.

Duties
and Responsibilities
|
Probable portfolio of
work along with time required for the tasks is as follows:
50%
time in managing
existing contracts that include timely and quality reporting to existing
funders. Liaising with project managers of such projects where present or
with respective Regional Offices (ROs)/KAHUBs otherwise to seek and compile
reports.
30%
time in donor scoping,
as per the needs of the Regional Offices and KAHUBs- involves travelling to
ROs
20%
time for internal
planning within IPD, preparing monthly reports, liaising with International
Partnership Development team etc.
• Effective contract management from proposal preparation stage up to
entering into funding agreement. Ensuring timely and quality reporting
as per donor requirement.
• To liaise with ROs/KAHUBs and facilitate preparation of reports for current projects funded by institutional and high value donors. To liaise with ActionAid’s affiliates where necessary for the same. • Coordinating with the ROs and KAHUBs to understand their funding needs and preparing fundraising plans that suit their needs. • Donor scoping, mainly of Trusts and Foundations and corporate CSR. • Tracking policy changes and shifting priorities among donor agencies- especially trusts and foundations and corporate CSR. • Coordinating with the International Partnership Development Unit to identify new partnership opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships. • Updating and maintaining the contract management database. |

Skills
and Competencies
|
• Have Post Graduate degree in Social Work/Social Sciences/Rural
Development/ Management or its equivalent.
• Have 2 -3 years of relevant experience with institutional donor interface. Freshers with exceptional skills will also be considered. • Have excellent interpersonal skills with donors, proven track record of raising funds from institutional donors and managing donor relations. • Have excellent time management and reporting skills for timely, effective and high quality reporting as per donor requirements. • Understanding of Institutional Donor portfolio, to secure stable institutional support to ActionAid Association projects. • Excellent skills in all applications of MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel is essential. Non-negotiable • Gender sensitivity, and strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups. • Excellent coordination and communication skills (both verbal and written) in English • Understanding of and ability to prepare and work with complex budgets. |

& Benefits

Approx
- INR 4.73 Lakhs CTO (Cost To Organisation)– per annum - this includes PF contribution.
In
addition, other benefits - Group Medical Insurance with coverage of Staff
& Dependents; Personal Accident Insurance of staff and gratuity is
payable as per law and norms of the organisation.
