JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Operations Director

Div/Dept: National Office

Location: Bangalore

Reporting Relationship: National Director – ChildFund International India and

CEO- ChildFund India Society

SUMMARY

To direct, lead and be accountable for ChildFund operations in the country. The Operations Director is responsible for defining and representing the operational functions of ChildFund International India and ChildFund India Society, reporting directly to the National Director, and in consultation with the Senior Management Team. S/he plays a significant role in long-term organizational planning, supporting management reporting, information flow and management, and business processes, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence and specific support to programs.

This is a high level, strategic role that ensures that all offices in the country contribute to the achievement of overall objectives of ChildFund International India and ChildFund India Society with transparent, accountable systems, seamless, robust processes and clear, effective internal and external communications.

As the ChildFund India Society continues to evolve and its role is shifting, this requires the existence of a strong board that has a clearly articulated vision of the future and a strategy to move the vision forward. The Operations Director will work closely with the CEO-ChildFund India Society to strengthen the Society board and grow the local organization.

This position will be part of Senior Management Team.
