3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director – Resource Mobilization, the
incumbent shall be responsible for leading the individual Fund raising team at SCI for
acquiring new donors and enhancing life time value with existing donors through
multiple channels and application of data management techniques, with an
objective of ensuring long team financial sustainability for the organization’s
programs for children.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(A) Ensuring Achievement of Financial Targets from Individual
Donors:
(1) Developing the annual Fund Raising (FR) plan to achieve targeted incomes from individual donors (to include goals, targeted incomes, resourcing plan and budgets;
(2) Driving both internal and external distribution for achieving the set goals and objectives;
(3) Providing inputs to new fundraising initiatives, covering new geographies and channels;
(4) Reviewing performance on a regular basis and providing insights and inputs based on performance and external benchmarks.

(B) Ensuring Individual Donor Servicing Process and Communication
Cycle are Aligned with Plans
(1) Ensuring development and adherence of communication/ engagement plan for individual donors;
(2) Ensuring individual donor management systems are robust and support front-end teams.

(C) Leading SCI Strategies and Initiatives in Global Fundraising
Protocols
(1) Disseminating information to key stakeholders in the team;
(2) Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements;
(3) Seeking support from the Director RM to ensure adherence with the above.

(D) Team Building
(1) Ensuring that team capacity is strengthened through requisite frameworks and training to achieve Direct Marketing team goals;
(2) Identifying the resources required to meet the objectives for the year;
(3) Providing the necessary resources to the team which will enable them to build sustainable operations.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicants must be Post Graduates in Marketing/ Sales, from a reputed Institute.

Experience:
Minimum 12 years experience in Individual Fundraising, with at least four years in leading and managing a large team of fundraisers.

Essential Skills and Competencies:
(1) Fluency in English and Hindi;
(2) Should be a team player, diplomatic and a strong negotiator;

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
The gross remuneration budgeted for this position is attractive.
Offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and salary
history, of the selected candidate.
