Job Description:

The role of Deputy Director Research – Protection will be to lead and support high quality, evidence based research focused on children safety. He/She shall oversee knowledge creation, identification of best practices and assessment of gaps with an objective to promote child friendly environment and provide knowledge support and recommendations to other verticals for their effective functioning. Provide strategic direction to the team and ensure timely and relevant research studies are proficiently conducted under his/her guidance. 

The responsibilities include:

Research: Define research priorities and promote Institute’s research in the area of child protection with an aim to support children’s safety across globe

Project Management:  Ensure high quality and relevant reports and develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government, civil society, business, academia to assure access to required online and offline data systems viz. govt publications, published researches on the public domain

Team Management:  Lead and develop the team reporting to him, provide ongoing coaching, feedback and support to build their capacity to further the mission of the organization

Qualification: Postgraduate/Graduate from a reputed institute
