2. ORGANISATION BACKGROUND:
Save the Children, Bal Raksha, Bharat (SC BRB) is
India’s leading independent child rights’ organization and works in 18 states
across the country, to make a difference in the lives of the most
socially-excluded children.
SC BRB’s work in the areas of Child Education,
Health & Nutrition, Child Protection and Humanitarian Response &
Disaster Risk Reduction has benefitted lakhs of children in India and last year
alone reached over 8.5 lakh children. The organization has existed in
India since pre-Independence days.
SC BRB is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance coalition,
a global network of organisations working for the betterment of the most
disadvantaged children in more than 120 countries in the world.
