The mission of the Department of Knowledge, Ethics and Research (KER) is to manage, disseminate and ensure the quality of WHO's information products, including guidelines; to translate evidence into policy and practice; to develop ethical and evidence-based policies for research; to coordinate the implementation of the WHO strategy on research for health; to develop and manage the Global Observatory for Health Research and Development; and to develop, strengthen and promote the use of information and communication technologies for health. The unit of WHO Press (WHP) is located in the department of Knowledge, Ethics and Research (KER). WHP is responsible for the production and publication of the Bulletin of the World Health printing services, supports publication activities throughout the organization and provides secretariats for the Publishing Policy Coordination Group and the Guidelines Review Committee Organization, promotion and distribution of WHO monographs and the Global Health History Seminar series. WHP manages WHO copyright and licensing translations, contracts external printing services, supports publication activities throughout the Organization and provides secretariats for the Publishing Policy Coordination Group and the Guidelines Review Committee.

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC)
has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. 

NHSRC is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of State Facilitator - Arunachal Pradesh for its branch office – Regional Resource Centre for North Eastern States (RRC-NE) at Guwahati, Assam.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitating implementation of NHM activities in the State of posting.
• Assist Director RRC-NE on situational analysis of health sector in NE states
• Assist in formulation of District Plans for NHM in the assigned states/ districts based on the findings of facility surveys conducted in the respective areas.
• Monitor implementation of District Plans.
