Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting the Internal Audit Unit (IAU) for successful and effective Implementation of Annual Audit Plans, by –
  1. Planning of audit schedules supporting the team
  2. Taking up periodical audit reviews of Partner organizations/DAs/DIs and Offices/Units of ActionAid, Association as per audit plans.
  3. Taking up any special and/or specific reviews from time to time as decided by IAU.
  4. Ensuring timely audits of other ActionAid run projects.
• Following-up & reviewing the audit Reports and observations for implementation of Suggestions to minimize the Risk factors.
• Supporting the Unit in Risk Assessment, Risk Analysis & preparation of periodical Audit Risk Matrix.
• Providing support for the effective functioning of Audit Committee and for implementation of decisions and directives of both CP and AA International Audit Committees.
•  Ensuring effective functioning of IAU by extending support to Sr. Manger - IAU in planning, review scheduling, Preparation of necessary Management Reports, Sharing information on Risk Management, knowledge sharing and extending support in the implementation of ALPS at CP level

Skills and Competencies

Qualification desired:  CA

Minimum qualification required:

• Pass in Intermediate (IPC exam) of ICAI with completion of article training period / Final course of ICWA
• Minimum 3 years of post course audit experience
• Ability to handle assignments independently
• Good communication skills
• A good team player.

Salary & Benefits

Approx - INR 6.6 Lakhs CTO (Cost to Organisation)– per annum - this includes PF contribution.

In addition, other benefits - Group Medical Insurance with coverage of Staff & Dependents; Personal Accident Insurance of staff and gratuity is payable as per law and norms of the organisation.
