OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME : The programmes to be covered in the area of Communicable Diseases and Health Security will include, but not be limited to, communicable diseases prevention and control including pandemic and epidemic diseases, vaccine preventable diseases and immunization, epidemiological surveillance and International Health Regulations (IHR), public health laboratories and blood safety and health risk management.
