PURPOSE OF THE POST:

This position is accountable to provide technical support for the planning & implementation of the Reproductive Child Health program & monitoring & delivery of results of the RCH program. The incumbent will also provide operational support to RCH program along with networking & partnership building with Government and Civil society Organizations (CSO) partners. The Health Officer reports to the Health Specialist for supervision and will provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Program within the Country Program from development planning to delivery of results, preparing, executing, managing and implementing a variety of technical and administrative program tasks to facilitate program development, implementation, program progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting of results.

Consultant – Public Health (RRC-NE)

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. 

NHSRC is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of Consultant – Public Health for its branch office – Regional Resource Centre for North Eastern States (RRC-NE) at Guwahati, Assam.

Key deliverables: 

• The consultant will be responsible for the roll out and implementation of various National health programs rolled out by MoHFW in the NE States
• Planning action oriented monitoring visits of the districts and States using the current baseline data from HMIS/MCTS/ District Health Action Plans to bring the positive changes on NHM indicators
