OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME : The objective of the WHO Staff Health Insurance (SHI) is to provide for the reimbursement of a major portion of the expenses for medically recognized health care incurred by staff members and other persons admitted as participants to the Insurance; provide policy guidance and ensure smooth facilitation of hospitalization during emergencies.
Description of duties: Under the close supervision of the National Professional Officer (NPO) and overall guidance of Budget and Finance Officer (BFO) the incumbent performs the following duties: 1) Staff Health Insurance related tasks: a) Ensures that SHI claims are recorded in control sheet(s) maintained for the purpose. Monitors and provides periodic status reports to supervisor(s).
