couple Abhay and Rani Bang, in 1985, in Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra.
SEARCH is guided
by the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and provides hospital care to the rural –
tribal people of Gadchiroli, and works with marginalized communities in 134 villages
of the district to identify and address their unattended health needs and
develop community empowering models of health care.
