I.          BACKGROUND:

UNICEF West Bengal set up the CSR Hub in December 2011 in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry. The overall goal of the CSR Hub is to jointly strengthen private sector involvement in social development, with particular focus on children and women, through a rights-based approach. With increasing focus on corporate engagement at the global and national levels, UNICEF is committed to working closely with multi-national corporations, national companies and small- to medium-sized businesses to identify, design and implement alliances that leverage the strengths of the corporate sector on behalf of the world's children. By working together, companies help to support UNICEF’s programmes and emergency relief efforts as well as advance awareness campaigns on issues vital to children.

Grants Manager - WaterAid India


Position: Grants Manager
Location: New Delhi
 
WaterAid India invites applications from experienced and qualified professionals to lead, develop and manage all of the organisation’s funding from institutional donors and restricted income funding relationships.
 
WaterAid is an international nongovernmental organisation focused exclusively on improving poor people’s access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation in developing countries.
 
WaterAid has operations in 26 countries of Africa, Asia and the Pacific Region. In India WaterAid operates as a liaison Office (Country Office) in New Delhi and Additional Liaison (Regional) Offices in Bangalore, Bhopal, Lucknow, and Bhubaneshwar. In 10 states across the country WaterAid supports the work of a large number of national and regional NGOs in the provision of safe and effective water and sanitation for poor and marginalized communities. Our team of professionals includes programme, policy and finance staff. India Country Programme is one ofWaterAid’s most established programmes in Asia with a total of 54 staff. WAI’s programme focus in the coming five years will be promoting and securing the rights and access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation for many poor people through direct services and millions more through our influencing work. This will include significant inputs of research, documentation, advocacy, networking and supporting NGOs.
