Program Coordinator - Childreach International India

We address issues that affect access to quality elementary education for children, early childhood care and development, gender discrimination, health and hygiene practices and other underlying issues of child rights violations through direct interventions, community networking and advocacy. Children’s ‘Right to Participation’ is on the core of all our projects and activities. 

Job Summary
Actively support programs department in ensuring project activities are carried out in line with the project plans and budgets. The position reports to Head – programs but is required to work in close coordination with team members and key, field staff with project partners.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct and document result-based research to support project planning, design and execution. 
• Actively support in implementation and monitoring of project activities. 
• Coordinate with partners on their activities and ensure that projects are in line with the action plan and planned outputs. 
• Conduct field visits, develop relation with community groups, individuals engaged in supporting project. 
• Initial project appraisals, desk review periodic reports received from partners and compile it in standardised formats for internal and external purposes 
• Capture success stories and present these stories to organization stakeholders in prescribed formats.
• Prepare correspondence, minutes and documents to facilitate project execution and management.
• Provide logical and administrative support for facilitation of meetings, trainings and events.
• Ensure documentation and maintain of records, reports, published material at appropriate places.
• Be responsible for the quality of data collected from the field and update the Management Information Systems (MIS) and other required documentation regularly. 
• Analyse and present updates and achievements in projects to different stakeholders.
• Provide support in carrying out any other work as assigned for the project.

Requisite Qualification and Experience

• Graduates/ post graduates in any field with atleast 2 years experience in project execution and management in the development sector.
• Good understanding/ knowledge of issues on child rights, education, early childhood care and development, RTE (Right to education) Act 
• Well versed with project design and other documentation under project framework
• Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English 
• Proficient with basic computer programs including all applications of MS Office, coral draw and web development

Remuneration Offered

The position offers an annual package of Rs. 3 lakh approximately. However, offer shall commensurate with the experience and salary history, of the selected candidate.
