ACTION FOR AUTISM invites applications for DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF for Ananda. The assisted living habitat provides its diverse range of residents with autism and other developmental conditions with a POSITIVE and FUN HOME-LIKE setting in a pollution-free rural community 30 minutes from the HUDA Metro Station, Gurgaon.

Key Competencies required:

A background in Special Education welcome but not essential.

• Sensitivity to be a MENTOR and BUDDY to the residents
• Provide HANDS-ON SUPPORT to residents in their DAILY LIFE ACTIVITIES – getting ready for the day, doing chores around the house, vocational work, leisure time

We want candidates who have the ability to work well in a calm, supportive, and encouraging manner.

This can be both a RESIDENTIAL and non-residential position.
