ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:

of Strategic Alliance Management Services P
Ltd. (SAMS), Transform Rural India Foundation (TRIF) wishes to recruit a Manager
(Health Sector Council ) to manage institutional processes for
management integration among partners, internal teams and grant management.
TRIF has constituted a collaborative platform of
leading civil society and other stakeholders, to bring about lasting change in
villages.
TRIF is triggering a planned time bound
multi-stakeholder effort to bring about a paradigm change on key indicators
making rural life as one of co-equal opportunity. The overarching objective is
to accelerate national aspiration for the rural poor in India to live a life of
dignity. This collaborative platform seeks to converge geography and thematic
sector overlays around prosperity, health & nutrition, education, safe
drinking water, sanitation, gender justice. The platform has partnerships with
state governments, corporate, civil society groups and thematic resource
organisations and all actors interested in Transforming Rural India.
It tasks itself of freeing poorest villages in east-central India from stagnation,
indifference and isolation facilitating conditions for communities to take
control of their destinies.

3. Health
Sector Council
The Health Sector Council comprises
of all partner NGOs having long experience of working on issues of Health and
Nutrition. The core focus of the council is to unify strategies across
partners, regions and bring strong result focus, strategy-alignment with TRI
principles and values. It also supports developing capacities in the thematic
area; developing best in the class, context specific training modules toolkits
(audio-visual) etc.
The Secretariat of the Health
Sector Council is jointly held by the TRIF and Public Health Resource Network (http://phrsindia.org/). PHRN is a growing network of individuals
and organizations with the perspective of strengthening technical and
management capacities to act towards the common goal of ‘Health for
All’. Its main objective is to contribute and strengthen all efforts
directed towards the goal of ‘Health for All’ through promotion of public
health, social justice and human rights related to the provision and
distribution of health services, especially for those who are generally left
underserved.
The joint team in the Secretariat
is mainly focused on developing knowledge products, ensuring process fidelity,
programme tracking, resource mobilisation and positioning this approach in
relevant community.
4. JOB
DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager
(Health Sector Council) shall
be responsible to support the top Management Team with holding the core
institutional management functions and provide analytical inputs around
execution strategies pertaining to the health sector. S/he shall be deeply
engaging with stake-holders in building the development eco-system. S/he will
be a part of the joint team managing the secretariat for the TRIF-Health Sector
Council.
TRIF is looking for candidates with experience in
the health and nutrition with project management, government interface or
working with the government system, experience of engagement with
donor/multi-lateral and is interested to be a part of a large national
initiative aimed at making a lasting difference to our society.
Key Job
Responsibilities:
(A) Manage Institutional
Integration Processes
(1) Work closely with the Leadership to anchor the partnership forums;
(2) Manage all institutional grants;
(3) Work closely with the Leadership to source new partners;
(4) Conduct research and analysis of development trends and opportunities;
(5) Create inventory of relevant resource material around TRI action;
(6) Ensure participation in relevant knowledge fundraising platforms.

(B) Lead TRI Communication Outreach
(1) Develop materials, presentations, organizing stakeholder events and meetings with respect to the health sector to present the TRI idea;
(2) Develop and implement systems and processes to institutionalize health communication processes.

(C) Content of engagement and
Delivery
Hold the Process of Content Generation and Delivery Protocols for community capacity building and partner management.

(D) Tracking Implementation: Design
and integrate monitoring systems and ensure process fidelity.
(E) Knowledge Creation: Build a
Body of Knowledge from experiences of ground
including concurrent process documentation and distilling learning;

(F) Positioning TRIF: Evidence
based policy improvement engagement with Public System and participating and holding
Workshop, Writing Paper, Publications, etc.;
(G) Nurturing Partnerships:
(1) Partner Sourcing Protocol and administration of the same;
(2) On-boarding (around approach) the Partner;
(3) Curating the Ground Partnership with F-NGO and Community Institution;
(4) Mutual Confidence and trust building;
(5) Admin: MoUs, Funding, Reporting, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
The applicant should be a Post Graduate in Social Work/ Nutrition/ Public Health/ Development Studies from a reputed institute.

Experience:
(1) Applicants must have about ten years of relevant experience with focus on programme and stakeholder management;
(2) Exposure to issues related to community health programmes;
(3) Candidates displaying exceptional leadership capabilities with five year plus experience may also be considered.

COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation for the position
