2. ORGANISATION BACKGROUND:
SOS Children’s Villages International, International Office
Region- Asia is a non-governmental and
non-denominational organisation entirely funded by private contributions.
The
objective of SOS Children’s Villages International is to help through National SOS
Children’s Villages Associations, orphaned and abandoned children regardless of
their ethnic roots, nationality and religion by giving them a family, a
permanent home and a sound basis for an independent life.
The
operations of SOS Children’s Villages
International represents
a round-up of 132 countries in which it is active and has under its wings 1539
projects including 491 Children’s Villages.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting
to the Director Fund Development &
Communications- Asia and
collaborating with the Digital Fundraising team in the region, the
International Office and the Software Developer in the International
Office-Asia, the Digital Fundraising Advisor (DFA) shall:
(1)
Support digital fundraising and digital infrastructure in member associations
in region Asia;
(2) Build competency of digital fundraising resources in member associations in region Asia.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1)
Responsible for implementation of the global Digital Fundraising strategy, with
focus on reach, acquisition and engagement, at key fundraising member
associations in region Asia;
(2) Plan, execute and evaluate digital fundraising campaigns; using appropriate channels from the digital marketing mix, including email, social media, website, search engine optimization etc.;
(3) Guide and lead the development and production of digital fundraising products and projects;
(2) Build capacity in digital fundraising, including the usage of digital tools by member associations in region Asia;
(3) Drive innovation and explore new possibilities in digital fundraising with member associations in region Asia;
(4) Support the digital fundraising technical setup, implementation and training of tools and knowledge exchange at member associations, in region Asia;
(5) Recognise synergies with other areas of fundraising (e.g., corporate partnerships) and its implementation;
(6) Monitor trends and competition in the region;
(8) Project management skills to translate member associations marketing/ fundraising ideas to reality with support of software developer;
(9) Drive, initiate and coordinate regional fundraising campaigns in alignment with member associations in region Asia.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicants should possess a Bachelors in Business Administration or be graduates with a Diploma in Business Administration/ Marketing. Applicants with a Masters in Business Administration, shall be at an advantage.

Experience:
(1)
At least six years of work experience, of which four should be in the design
and execution of successful digital marketing campaigns;
(2) Experience in Content Management Systems as well as IT project management skills will be an added advantage;
(3) Experience with digital marketing strategy and implementation including social media, email marketing, search engine advertising and display advertising.

Skills and Competencies:

In-depth knowledge and familiarity with social media and ICT tools;
(2) Up to date with developments in digital technology, digital marketing and fundraising techniques and trends;
(3) Understanding of Content Management Systems, CRM systems, email marketing systems and social media tools;
(4) Reasonable flair for writing content relating to digital fundraising;
(5) Excellent analytical, as well as communication skills;
(6) Good knowledge of innovation in digital fund raising;
(7) Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
(8) High interpersonal skills;
(9) Team orientation;
(10) Willing to travel internationally.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
The offered compensation for this position is Rs. 10-12 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
