1. POSITION VACANT: Administrative Associate, Language and Learning Foundation, New Delhi
2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is a New Delhi based non-profit organization with the vision of
enhancing equitable student learning, especially language and literacy
development, through professional development of teachers and teacher educators
and building/sharing knowledge. Their critical work domains include
professional development, project implementation, knowledge building and
dissemination.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting
to the Admin and Accounts Officer,
the Administrative
Associate shall be responsible for provision of
comprehensive administrative and logistics across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
(A) Supporting Office Management (40%)
(1) Coordinating with vendors for negotiating price, quality, and delivery in conformity with requirements;
(2) Managing office records (files and registers) and providing necessary secretarial support;
(3) Developing and instituting efficient filing and retrieval systems;
(4) Receiving and dispatching official courier, mail and material;
(5) Handling bank matters like updating passbook, cheque deposit etc.;
(6) Ensuring front office management (if required).

Management (40%)
(1) Arranging and managing the travel and hotel bookings for periodic travel and meetings by the LLFteam;
(2) Ensuring the execution of cost effective hotel and travel contracts (car, train and flight bookings), negotiating the best service and rates for LLF;
(3) Making meeting arrangements including booking venue, ordering stationary and ensuring food arrangements;
(4) Conducting market surveys and collecting quotations;
(5) Coordinating with program team for facilitating logistics and related requirements.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Applicants with Post Graduation in Business Administration, any specialization, shall be preferred.
Experience:
(1) Applicants must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in providing administrative support;
(2) Strong written and verbal communication skills;
(3) Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Good knowledge of data entry, filing and record maintenance;
(2) Effective influencing skills;
(3) Ability to work effectively in teams
(4) Language competency in English and Hindi.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
The
offered compensation for this position is attractive and competitive to market
rates. Offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and
salary history, of the selected candidate.
6. NATURE OF APPOINTMENT:
This
is a full time position with LLF. The successful
candidate shall initially be issued a one-year contract, extendable up to two
years based on performance.
