The Communications Manager will work closely with the research team to elevate brand equity by crafting and implementing communications and event and media plans for ongoing projects. S/he will also help guide strategy to expand the influence of JustJobs Network’s work, both in India and globally, through targeted, as well as general communications campaigns.
The Communications Manager shall additionally be responsible for driving communications-centered efforts for advancing JustJobs Network’s mission as well as
supporting the implementation of marketing and communications strategies.

Key Job Responsibilities
(1) Develop and implement strategies and annual plans in consultation with the Senior Management Team to enhance the visibility and influence of JustJobs Network;
(2) Create company newsletters, blogs and other publications;
(3) Ensure effective outreach and dissemination of the organization’s activities, including local and international events;
(4) Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications;
(5) Manage the web portal and social media strategy;;
(6) Promote the organization through public relations initiatives by developing fresh story ideas and conducting extensive media outreach;
(7) Lead the design and development of high quality communications materials, including conceptualization, messaging, localization of content, translations, artworks, etc;
(8) Create and maintain press lists for India, South Asia, Europe, Africa and North America;
(9) Research media coverage and industry trends;
(10) Monitor branding of programs by staff and partners, to ensure that donors/ potential donors, as well as the general public, view the organization favorably;
(11) Manage contact databases and information.
Master’s degree in English, Mass Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Four to five years’ experience of working as a communications professional with a public policy organization.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Demonstrated interest in labor, employment, and globalization issues;
(2) Advanced skills in using a variety of software packages including Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, MailChimp, MS Office;
(3) Prior relevant experience in communications strategy and business/research analysis;
(4) Excellent writing an copy-editing skills.
(5) Legal eligibility to work in India.
The gross remuneration budgeted for the position is Rs. 7.5 lacs per annum. Offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and salary history, of the selected candidate.
