CanKids…..KidsCan , is a respected, national, non-profit with operations in over 44 locations across the country, dedicated to effecting change and improvement on all aspects of treatment, care and support services, for children with cancer and their families in India, with the vision of achieving global survival rates of 70-95% and ensuring the highest quality of life for childhood cancer patients, families and survivors.
CanKids…..KidsCan has registered and supported over 25,000 families of children with cancer under its You Are Not Alone (YANA) program of holistic care and support.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a key senior management position and the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) shall have a key role in strategic financial planning and control, with direct responsibility and accountability for managing all financial operations of the organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional, with demonstrated experience of leading the finance and accounts function, to steer and help achieve CanKids…..KidsCan’s ambitious plans, goals and targets, and serve as a key 'growth and change' leader.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
(1) Manage financial operations including managing/ overseeing procurement processes, accounting, payroll, financial reporting, tax and other filings, insurance and audits;
(2) Improve and manage the financial planning process, determining the financial needs, cash management, initiating and preparing the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, preparing the monthly and annual (internal and external) financial reports and variance and other associated business analysis;
(3) Ensure compliance of all statutory financial norms and government financial rules including FCRA compliances;
(4) Ensure that the records and systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting and auditing standards;
(5) Liaise with local authorities, Banks and other related authorities;
(6) Lead financial modeling, planning and reporting; to employ activity-based financial analysis for Cankids operations and business plans.
(7) Assist the Chairperson and senior management team in the proper governance of the Society including preparation of materials and reports for the Board of Governors;
(8) Other activities as generally expected in this role and position.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications: 
Applicants must be Chartered Accountants/ ICMAs/ ICWAs/ MBAs (Finance)/ M.Com.’s, from a reputed University/ Institution.
Experience: 
(1) Minimum eight years of relevant experience, with at least two years as the Head of Finance and Accounts with an organization; 
(2) Prior experience in the NGO sector shall be preferred.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is Rs. 10 to 12 lacs per annum (approx.). Please note that the offer shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and salary history of the selected candidate.
