HelpAge India is a reputed charity known for its pioneering work in support of the disadvantaged elderly. Our work has benefited over 8 million elderly and our programmes cater to more than 1.5 million older people every year. We work in the areas of health care, livelihood support, residential care, disaster mitigation, social security and rights of the elderly. The funding for the programmes is largely indigenous and raised from individual, institutional and corporate donors. We also advocate for formation of policy related to the elderly. HelpAge India requires 15 Programme Executives, on specific time bound contracts, to organize vulnerable poor communities, and more specifically elderly poor, into self-help collectives around livelihood, rights and entitlements in the rural areas of Telangana. 

The suitable candidates would be Postgraduates in Social Sciences, Agriculture Extension, Home Science and allied in the age group of 21-30 years and domiciled in Telangana. Experience and enthusiasm of working directly with the poor communities would be an added advantage. Knowledge of Telugu and English MUST, as also a 2- Wheeler driving License. 

Selection Process would include a three month induction process during which a stipend would be paid. Only upon successful completion of induction process the contracts would be confirmed. Persons averse to rural stay and travel need not apply.
