Position: Consultant/Officer / Associate, Documentation and Reporting
Location : New Delhi
Supervisor : Senior Documentation Manager 
Required : Starting December 2014

Job Summary 


The consultant/ officer / program associate, documentation and reporting will be responsible for assisting the UHI project in documenting and showcasing program achievements and lessons learned in English and in Hindi. The format may include reports, PowerPoints, web postings, papers for publication, program briefs or updates, case studies.
Key areas of responsibilities:

• Draft, review, edit, and finalize documents, reports, or sections or reports, for a variety of audiences.
• Consolidated data from various sources into power point presentations and graphs as requested and needed
• Provide content to update the UHI website, or edit existing content. 
• Synthesize, compile, document, findings for publication, case studies, etc. 
• Respond to ad hoc requests for articles or short summaries. 
• Minute and support important meetings and events; and compile workshop reports.
• Phone city and Lucknow offices to get content and photos by phone, which you write
• Write and edit sections of the website so that they are in good form – accurate and reading well.
• Coordinate closely with website manager to ensure that content is uploaded and organized.
• Assist in following-up with project staff and subcontractors for timely submission of deliverables.
• Manage a calendar of key events, and ensure that resources have been logically assigned.
• Support the team with documentation and data analysis, as required.
• Provide other miscellaneous support such as drafting meeting minutes, scheduling meetings and organizing program files for easy retrieval and use.

Qualifications/ Experience: 

• Motivated, hardworking, creative, positive, and action oriented
• Organized, efficient, and able to pay attention to detail. 
• Excellent in written English– and ability to write quickly and effectively
• Results oriented, and able to plan, implement and complete tasks, especially written tasks, independently and on time.
• Good presentation, and documentation skills, including in word processing and PowerPoint skills.
• Able to establish and maintain excellent networks and relationships
• Able to function effectively as part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary multi-organizational team. 
• Familiarity with in family planning, reproductive health, or maternal & infant health
• Committed to contribute to meeting the needs of poor people
• Post graduate in social sciences or public health (MPH, MSW, MBA, MBBS, PhD, MA or MS in Social Sciences)
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in Hindi and English
