2. ORGANISATION BACKGROUND: 
SOS Children’s Villages International, International Office Region- Asia is a non-governmental and non-denominational organisation entirely funded by private contributions.
The objective of SOS Children’s Villages International is to help through National SOS Children’s Villages Associations, orphaned and abandoned children regardless of their ethnic roots, nationality and religion by giving them a family, a permanent home and a sound basis for an independent life.

The operations of SOS Children’s Villages International represents a round-up of 132 countries in which it is active and has under its wings 1539 projects including 491 Children’s Villages.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director Information Communication Technology (ICT)- Asia and working with Regional Functions, Digital Fundraising team in region Asia and ICT team in the International Office, theSoftware Developer (.Net) shall design, develop and deploy the websites for Member Associations (countries) in Asia and ensure:
·         Proper functioning of the platform and websites;
·         CMMI standards and Application Lifecycle Management processes and phases in all the projects
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Development of .Net interactive Websites (Front and Backend);
(2) Development of interface between Websites and Online Payment system;
(3) Responsible for forms and underlying form engine technology;
(4) Manage basic administration of development system;
(5) Preparation of releases of websites for Production System;
(6) Provide support to key users in the Member Associations (countries);
(7) Maintain, customize and deploy websites aimed at Fundraising such as:
(a) Platform for managing donors’ database;
(b) Developing various APIs;
(c) Maintaining project documentation updated on issues of Information Technology and communication;
(d) Coordinating with the Digital Fundraising personnel to develop new campaigns and processes;
(e) Coordinating the design and development of Information Technology and Communications to support new campaigns;
(f) Support and promote implementation processes of the websites at MA level;
(g) Ensure proper functioning of the various interfaces with the other online application relates;
(h) Develop processes for various website oriented fundraising;
(i) Perform maintenance of existing tools and processes;
(j) Create scripts for optimising databases.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field is required.
Experience:
Essential
(1) At least four years of work experience of development of .Net interactive Websites, working experience in software development and website development, working experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012;
(2) Should have excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), .Net (Preferably C#);
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Good knowledge in HTML5, CSS, XML, JavaScript and Web Services;
(2) Basic understanding MVC pattern;
(3) Object-relational mapping (OR mapping);
(4) Basic understanding MVC pattern
(4) Excellent analytical, as well as communication skills;
(5) Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
(6) High interpersonal skills;
(7) Team orientation;
(8) Willing to travel internationally;
(9) Willingness to work in interregional teams.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Kentico, AJAX, Web Parts
Knowledge of Graphic Designing
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

The offered compensation for this position is Rs. 13-15 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
