2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Transform Rural India Foundation (TRIF) is a non-profit and client of Strategic Alliance Management Services P Ltd. (SAMS), striving to bring about substantive improvements to key indicators of rural life.

TRIF is facilitating a planned, time bound, multi-stakeholder effort, to accelerate national aspirations of the rural poor in India to live a life of dignity. The collaborative platform established by TRIF for the purpose, seeks to converge geography and thematic sector overlays around prosperity, health and nutrition, education, safe drinking water, sanitation, and gender justice. The platform has partnerships with state governments, corporates, civil society groups and thematic resource organisations, apart from all actors interested in Transforming Rural India (TRI).
TRIF tasks itself to free the poorest villages in east-central India from stagnation, indifference and isolation, facilitating conditions for communities to take control of their destinies. The initiative has been conceptualized by the Tata Trusts and backed by several other leading philanthropic agencies, as well.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager (Communication and Integration) shall support the top Management Team in discharging core institutional management functions and also track and provide ongoing analytical inputs, on the success of key execution strategies.
S/he shall engage deeply with stake-holders in building the development eco-system.
TRIF is looking for bright, socially sensitive, individuals, with an interest in working for poor communities and participating in a large national initiative, making a lasting difference to our society. The post-holder shall work with the Core Leadership Team at TRIF in a start-up environment. The job entails frequent travel to familiarize her/himself with TRIF’s field activities, engage with prospective partners and complement implementation at multiple field locations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(A) Manage Institutional Integration Processes 
1.    (1) Work closely with Management Leadership to anchor key partnership forums;
2.    (2) Manage all institutional grants;
3.    (3) Work closely with the Management Leadership to source new partnerships;
4.    (4) Conduct research and analysis of development trends and opportunities;
5.    (5) Create an inventory of relevant resource material, around the action agenda for TRI;
6.    (6) Ensure participation in relevant knowledge and fundraising platforms.

8.    (B) Lead TRI Communication Outreach
9.    (1) Lead and manage Corporate Communications for TRI;
10.  (2) Develop materials and presentations and organize stakeholder events and meetings to present the TRI idea;
11.  (3) Manage the web portal and social media strategy;
12.  (4) Develop and implement systems and processes to institutionalize communication processes.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
The applicant should be a Graduate/ Post-Graduate, or equivalent, from a reputed institute.
Experience:
(1) Applicants must have 3-4 years of experience, including 1-2 years of relevant experience;
(2) The ideal candidate shall be in her/his late twenties to early thirties.
Skills and Attributes:
(1) Demonstrated leadership qualities to succeed in an entrepreneurial role;
(2) Prior relevant experience in communications strategy and business/research analysis;
(3) Ability to work independently to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses and support recommendations with data/ analysis;
(4) Strong management and problem-solving capabilities;
(5) Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written;
(6) Comfortable travelling to rural/ remote locations;
(7) Interest in the development sector.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation for the position is attractive. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
