Job Description:

Director Institute will contribute to the development, integration and execution of the Foundation strategy across the research Institute. Director Institute will lead its policy and practice arm across the research institute and will be responsible for capability building and knowledge creation for the child protection, education and health. Individual will drive a strong thought leadership agenda that will help shape the future. The person shall be responsible to ensure Institute is developing high quality, evidence-based, impactful research to support the mission and vision of the organization.  

Main job role includes the following responsibilities:

Strategy: Develop and implement strategy and operational plan for the Institute in collaboration with the Board, the Trustees, Executive Director and other senior management members
Research and System Strengthening: Define research priorities and promote Institute’s research in child abuse & protection, child health and education. Lead the strategy, research, advocacy, training and policy reform
Fundraising and partnerships: Raise funds for the institute and cultivate relationship with the donors and build and maintain the relationships with the key stakeholders
Leadership: Recruit, lead and develop the Institute team, including setting performance objectives and performance reviews

Qualification: Postgraduate/Graduate degree in education/community development studies with research methodology as a topic of study are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 15 years’ experience in a Research Institute or Department or in a global NGO, foundation or business
