3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Program Manager- Investments (APM-
INVT) is a mid-level position, reporting to theRegional
Investment Manager (RIM).
Key Job Responsibilities
A) Impact Investment (Approx. 50% of time):
(1) Providing support to the RIM in
developing a strong pipeline of social SMEs for investment;
(2) Supporting the RIM in preparing documentation, financial modeling, technical assessment and conducting due diligence, for approval by the Investment Committee;
(3) Supporting the enterprises where ICCO Investments has made investments, ensuring profit and impact and regular progress reporting.

B) Value Chain Development (Approx. 40% of time):
(1) Managing an independent portfolio of agriculture/
non-farm value chain development projects across India;
(2) Developing and implementing strategies for improving the quality and scale of existing projects;
(3) Ensuring quality program reports for supported projects, in compliance with stipulated deadlines.

C) Other Responsibilities (Approx. 10% of time):
(1) Supporting Finance Officer in ensuring
quality financial back-donor reporting;
(2) Actively supporting fund raising initiatives;
(3) Preparing concept notes/ proposal writing for mobilizing matching grants;
(4) Processing documentation and reporting for different projects;
(5) Performing any other relevant/ program related duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
(2) Actively supporting fund raising initiatives;
(3) Preparing concept notes/ proposal writing for mobilizing matching grants;

(5) Performing any other relevant/ program related duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Business Management/ Rural Development
and/ or any other related field.
Essential Experience:
(1) Minimum three years of work experience in impact
investments/ management of social development programs/ banking, or social
enterprises;
(2) Demonstrated proficiency in the development of financial models, financial statements and business plans;
(3) Demonstrated experience of partner identification and management with specific focus on program and project formulation, accountability requirements (PME) and capacity building;
(4) Knowledge of financial aspects relating to the funding of programs;
(5) Familiarity with national issues with regards to livelihoods, rural development and financial inclusion.

(2) Prior experience of working in the private sector, fair-trade, etc;
(3) Prior experience of working in rural areas on issues relating to economic gains for poor producers, etc.

Essential Skills and Competencies:
(1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English. Knowledge of an additional regional language shall be an advantage

(4) People friendly with ability and willingness to work in a team;
(5) Flexible with a positive work attitude and desire to learn and add value;
(6) Attentive to detail, routinely thorough and comprehensive in approach;
(7) Ability to travel up to 50% of time to remote rural areas.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
The gross remuneration budgeted for this position is
attractive. Offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience
and salary history, of the selected candidate.
6. CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYMENT:
The successful candidate shall be initially offered a
contract till December 2015, extendable, based on performance.
