3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Manager- Human Resource, the Coordinator – Human Resource (CHR),shall primarily be responsible for  providing continuous coordination support, ensuring effective and efficient functioning of the unit. The incumbent shall also provide appropriate information as required, including liaising with other units and state offices and leading on assigned tasks. S/heshall provide comprehensive support to colleagues, further enabling senior staff to devote time to their functional responsibilities.The incumbent shall additionally be responsible for playing the role of HR Business Partner with high linkage to the fundraising team.
Specific Responsibilities:

(1) Handling complete recruitment process which includes screening of applications, developing and releasing interview call letters, coordinating interviews, closure of recruitments, ensuring TAT, etc.;
(2) Maintaining monthly recruitment tracker;
(3) Preparing and overseeing checklists and further coordinating with other departments, as applicable, at the time of joining/leaving of staff;
(4) Responding to queries from the branch offices (staff charter, etc.);
(5) Close attention to grievance handling with a view to positively impacting retention;
(6) Organizing and coordinating various office meetings and staff get-togethers and related team building activities;
(7) Ensuring updated and accurate manpower database as well as generation of reports, whenever required; Maintaining contracts/ renewals of all employees;
(8) Preparing quarterly employee attrition report;
(9) Initiating new recruitment channels (online/offline) and maintaining rapport with the existing channels.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications:

Post Graduate in Administration/ HR/ Personnel/ IR and/ or equivalent, from a reputed institute  
Experience:
Minimum three years of work experience in recruitment and manpower planning, preferably in an NGO environment.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Interpersonal Skills: Highly motivated with positive attitude; High personal and professional integrity; Ability to work long hours, under pressurewith minimal supervision; Attentive to details; Process oriented; Strong analytical skills;
(2) An effective communicator, the applicant must possess strong influencing, planning and organizing skills; 
(3) Ability to prepare and generate reports;
(4) Good understanding of administrative and finance systems; 
(5) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Fluency in Hindi is desirable; 
(6) Conversant with standard MS office applications;
(7) Commitment and understanding of SC BR’s aims, values and principles;
(8) Willingness to abide by SC BR’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy;
(9)  Ability and willingness to undertake travel on a regular basis, ranging from 2-10 days in the month;
(10) Ability to support team building and retention initiatives.
