2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Founded
in1949, SOS Children's Villages is an independent, non-governmental
and non-profit organization working for the well-being of the children
globally. It advocates the concerns, rights and needs of children.
At present, SOS
Children’s Village is
active in over 133 countries with over 500 SOS Children’s Villages and 400 SOS Youth Facilities striving for the
welfare of the children in need of care and protection.
The
organization has established 31 SOS Children’s Villages in 21 states across India and
addresses the needs of over 23,000 children. The first children’s village was
setup in Greenfields, Haryana in 1964 and since then the organization has
settled over four generations of SOS children, who were once rendered
parentless or were abandoned.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager-Corporate Partnerships shall be responsible for Corporate Fundraising, increasing face to face solicitations with corporate donors to meet the fundraising objectives of SOS India and ensuring end to end donor servicing.
The Manager-Corporate Partnerships shall be responsible for Corporate Fundraising, increasing face to face solicitations with corporate donors to meet the fundraising objectives of SOS India and ensuring end to end donor servicing.
The
position shall report to the Senior Manager-Corporate Partnerships and have responsibility for
providing support for acquiring new corporate donors, maintaining relationships
with existing donors, donor servicing and facilitating the conduct of surveys
of potential markets for fundraising.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
(1)
Achieving fundraising targets by personally initiating corporate tie-ups
in the assigned area for the purpose, with special focus on closing deals/
donations and achieving set targets as per the objectives of the organization;
(2) Assisting Area Coordinators in acquiring new corporate donors, maintaining relationships with existing donors and donor servicing;
(3) Monitoring the achievement of fundraising targets and obtaining information on best practices/ success stories from team members to build capabilities and increasing fund generation;
(4) Coordinating internal communications and awareness of organization direction, mission, aims and activities;
(5) Conducting surveys of potential markets for fundraising;
(6) Conducting various fundraising initiatives;
(7) Proposal writing/ processing of grant applications/ donor reports/ volunteering engagements with corporate employees.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications:
Applicants
must have a PG Degree/ Diploma, in a field of relevance to the position.
Experience:
Minimum
4-8 years of experience in the relevant field, with a proven track record in
corporate partnerships and fundraising.
Skills and Competencies:
(1)
Competent and proven, writing, presentation and people management skills;
(2) Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English and Hindi;
(3) Proficiency in 1-2 regional languages, shall be an advantage.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross
compensation budgeted for the position on a cost to organization basis is Rs.
6.90 lacs per annum.
