2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Headquartered at Seattle, WA-USA, SightLife is one of the leading eye banks in the world, and serves as an international non-governmental organization (INGO) to eliminate corneal blindness.
Working with surgeons in over 30 countries, SightLife and its Global Partners restore sight to more than 20 men, women, and children each day. This is accomplished through eye banks, which are centers for the recovery and placement of eye tissue used in cornea transplants. SightLife’s mission is to eliminate corneal blindness globally through partnerships with eye banks in developing countries, where 90% of the 10 million people suffering from curable corneal blindness live.

SightLife constituted a small team of senior management and distribution professionals in India in 2012, for this purpose. Sightlife’s programs in India have yielded extremely positive results and the organization is now poised to expand operations rapidly. 3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager- Partner Engagement will report directly to the SightLife Country Director, India and work collaboratively with key global SightLife staff and subject matter experts, to build and manage SightLife partners and programs in India.

The position is best suited for mature professionals who wish to transition from corporate consulting roles in organization development, to address a significant social cause. The current team of managers includes mid and senior level managers from some of the best companies in the world and strong academic credentials, again from the best institutions in the world.

The Manager- Partner Engagement will address development needs of SightLife partners in India and play an advisory role in areas such as leadership, performance management, web-based IT systems, business management and similar development needs. This position will also primarily act as a facilitator/ trainer for various training and development courses in addition to professional and leadership training programs, with an emphasis on in-class training.

 Key Responsibilities:

(1) Manage and oversee all program responsibilities with multiple SightLife Eye Bank Partners to ensure success;
(2) Provision of on-going capacity building consulting to multiple eye bank partners in all key areas (finance, operations, human resources, board governance, etc.) necessary to create a sustainable organization and enable scalability in performance;
(3) Organize periodic reviews, mentoring, consulting, site visits and tracking of key performance metrics; Develop and implement new procedures and training methods;
(4) Build effective relations and ensure communication with all partners and perform all required SightLife project management functions related to these partnerships;
(5) Provide mentoring, on-site training and coaching to all staff requiring professional development;
(6) Use analytics, statistics, metrics and trends to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and sustain the momentum around leadership development efforts; Assess and manage risk through analysis of statistical, financial and economic data
(7) Provide tactical and strategic feedback and development support to key program platforms, includingSightLife Academy and the SightLife Management System;
(8) Provide in-classroom training on all operational and leadership topics;
(9) Support expansion of SightLife presence in India, including identifying and establishing new relationships with leading eye banks;
(10) Perform all other functions required to assure the success of SightLife and its overall mission of SightLife.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification:
Minimum a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA))or  any other related professional qualification from a top notch, premier institute.
Experience:
(1) Minimum 5 years of progressive consulting and/or program management experience including gap analysis, problem solving, project development, implementation, and monitoring and performance evaluation;
(2) Experience of consulting with management on leadership and/or management development programs;
(3) Prior experience in providing training with particular emphasis in designing and delivering Soft Skills training (i.e., coaching, interpersonal communication, Conflict Management, Leadership Development);
(4) Minimum five years of progressive experience in building successful customer relations, and developing high performance teams.

Skills and Attributes
(1) Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; Knowledge of a third language is a plus; Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, presentation, customer service and interpersonal skills;
(2) Competency in building relationships and alliances across diverse organizations;
(3) High personal integrity and ethics;
(4) Ability to work in fast paced, consulting style environment;
(5) Ability to work late nights on periodic basis, as part of established global meetings;
(6) Self-motivated team player with desire and ability to learn rapidly;
(7) Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision;
(8) Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of staff levels and with external vendors;
(9) Excellent planning, time management, decision-making and organization skills;
(10) Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to use basic PC's, standard desktop software, Web meeting application/ Virtual PC software and stay current with relevant technology and innovation;
(11) Commitment to the cause of cornea donation;
(12) Ability to travel 30% of the time in India and 10% of the time, internationally.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Rs.12 lacs per annum and up, depending on experience. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
