UNDP is implementing a project financed by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)which supports the implementation of the State Action Plans of Climate Change (SAPCC) in the states of Uttarakhand, Sikkim & Madhya Pradesh. The project aims at strengthening capacities to plan and implement relevant climate actions across select sectors including water, disaster management, forest and energy. Tools prepared and processes documented as part of the project will be shared with the larger community involved in practice of climate change. The project will also strengthen the state systems such as nodal institutions towards coordination of the activities envisaged under the SAPCC, facilitate implementation of climate change strategies with select sector departments, maximize the benefits through exploring inter-state cooperation; and showcase the actual implementation of SAPCCs.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Director, the Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative coordination for the national office to include, office services, internal communications, transport management and asset management
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facility administration including property/lease agreement management, ground maintenance, office space allocation and bills payment administration
  • Develop and maintain NO records management and retention procedures

SUMMARY
The operations manager will plan, direct and coordinate the operations of ChildFund in Afghanistan. S/He is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and functionality of organisational operations through the provision of effective business approaches and strategies.

SUMMARY

The Deputy Manager Business Development
position will support ChildFund International’s overall strategy to diversify and grow its grant-funded portfolio. Position Summary: This person will be central to the Monitoring and Evaluation system at the Regions. He/ she will consolidate, monitor progress achieved against pre-decided indicators pertaining to CRY objectives as part of CRY's M & E system. He/ she will generate disaggregated reports as required for various purposes. He/ She will have to liaise with internal and external stakeholders for data acquisition and will be the regional hub for all information related to impact. 


Key responsibilities:

1. Maintain the regional data based on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) by following up with partners on data collected by them regarding MEAL
2. Generate reports from the MEAL, provide a disaggregated analysis of the data in terms of theme, state, age, gender, community etc.
3. Be the focal point for any data related to MEAL in the region for the queries from any other functions within CRY.
4. Provide periodic feedback to partners on the quality of data collected, timeliness of data collected as per MEAL guidelines.
