1. POSITION VACANT: Technical Trainer, Sightlife Global, New
Delhi (TT-SG)
2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Headquartered at Seattle, WA-USA, SightLife is one of
the leading eye banks in the world, and serves as an international
non-governmental organization (INGO) to eliminate corneal blindness.
Working with surgeons in over 30 countries, SightLife and
its Global Partners restore sight to more than 20 men, women, and children each
day. This is accomplished through eye banks, which are centers for the recovery
and placement of eye tissue used in cornea transplants. SightLife’s mission
is to eliminate corneal blindness globally through partnerships with eye banks
in developing countries, where 90% of the 10 million people suffering from
curable corneal blindness live.
SightLife constitutes a
small team of senior management and distribution professionals for this
purpose. This is an exciting opportunity to come on board an ambitious social initiative
which will beneficially impact millions of Indians suffering from reversible
blindness.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
SightLife
wishes to recruit their first Technical Trainer. The post holder shall be a solution-minded,
experienced communicator, responsible for driving awareness and adoption of Sightlife eye bank management systems, by
all customers. The position requires a customer focused, hands-on solution provider,
connecting the Information Technology
Business Solutions team to customers and successfully developing solution
education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Designing, developing and delivering software applications
training programs and individual classes;
(2) Driving adoption growth, directly linked to customer utilization of SightLife’s platforms;
(3) Gathering customer feedback on solution improvement, reviewing open issues,
and proposing enhancements that allow customers to achieve business goals;
(4) Providing primary support to customers using SightLife’s platforms;
(5) Nurturing relationships with key customers and being the first point of
contact for understanding their evolving needs;
(6) Partnering with the Business
Solutions team and Program Managers to build requirements for optimized
onboarding and relationship management communications;
(7) Owning internal and customer facing solution messaging, documentation and
updates;
(8) Experimenting with various education techniques to optimize effectiveness;
(9) Interfacing with customers’ employees and volunteers;
(10) Establishing periodic refresher programs as well as advanced skill
trainings;
(11) Building online training modules as a self-learning platform;
(12) Coordinating and maintaining regular communications and updating with
customers’ senior management;
(13) Ability to travel 30-40% of time in India and internationally.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree is essential. An MBA or advanced degree is
desirable.
Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of three years of Technical
Training or equivalent experience, delivering software training.
Skills and Attributes:
(1)Top-notch ability to deliver successful training and
skills-transfer programs;
(2) Highly effective communication and customer relationship
management skills, along with strong presentation skills;
(3) Proven experience with adult learning principles, methodologies,
and course design techniques;
(4) Hands-on knowledge of enterprise and desktop applications;
(5) Excellent interpersonal skills, with emphasis on motivational
skills and a positive attitude;
(6) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the
ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex
information clearly and concisely;
(7) Consultative and result driven;
(8) Ability to understand people’s difficulty in using and
adopting systems and translate them into training needs;
(9) Strong work ethic;
(10) Knowledge of health care business to include many or all of
the following: Solution Knowledge, Health Advocacy, Marketing Processes and Sales;
(11) Personal commitment to organ and tissue donation is essential;
(12) Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desirable.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation starts
from Rs. 5 lacs per annum on a cost to organization basis. Offers shall be
commensurate with the selected candidate’s ability, experience and salary
history.
