2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
Headquartered at Seattle, WA-USA, SightLife is the only non-profit global health organization, focused solely on eliminating corneal blindness.
Working with surgeons in over 30 countries, SightLife and its Global Partners restore sight to more than 20 men, women, and children each day. This is accomplished through eye banks, which are centers for the recovery and distribution of eye tissue used in cornea transplants.
SightLife’s mission is to eliminate corneal blindness globally, through partnerships with eye banks in developing countries, where 90% of the world’s 10 million cornea blind people live.
Since 2010 SightLife has successfully implemented a comprehensive program to support the development of eye banks and corneal surgeons, across India. The current team includes people from IIT, ISB, Cornell, John Hopkins and Duke University etc.

This is an exciting opportunity to come on board an ambitious public health initiative which has already begun to beneficially impact millions of Indians suffering from reversible blindness.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Partner Account Manager (PAM) shall work collaboratively with global SightLife leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to build and manage partners and programs in India, with the end-objective of building country-wide capability within eye banks, to eliminate corneal blindness in India.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Manage one or more Partner Eye Banks (called accounts) ensuring achievement of committed organizational goals
(a) Engage eye bank partner with on-going capacity building advice in all key areas (finance, operations, human resources, board governance, IT and process related support solutions etc.) necessary to create a sustainable organization and enable scalability in performance;
(b) Become the partner’s “trusted advisor” and develop the relationship from tactical to strategic;
(c) Track of key performance metrics and organize periodic reviews and site visits. Ensure communication with partners and perform all required SightLife project management functions related to these partnerships;
(d) Facilitate or lead recruitment, training and professional development of key staff. Sustain the momentum around leadership development efforts;
(e) Ensure timely MoU signing, renewal and closure of reporting and financial interactions.
(2) Spread the impact of cornea blindness removal programs by identifying, validating and acquiring new partners in alignment with SightLife operating and governance principles;
(3) Perform all other functions that may be required to assure the success of SightLife and the overall mission of SightLife. This may include additional projects or programs.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:        
Qualification:
Applicants must have a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Public Health (MPH), or any other related professional qualification from a top notch, premier institute.
Experience:
(1) Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Consulting/ Advisory Services, Project Management, Program Management and/or Operations Management;
(2) Proven record in delivery against strategy and stated targets; 
(3) Experience in building relationships and alliances, across all levels in diverse organizations both internally and externally;
(4) Experience in analytical methods of analysis, problem solving, concept development and implementation;
(5) Experience in building and managing high performance teams;
(6) Experience in effectively managing partner relationships, demonstrating partner growth and satisfaction with services.

(6) Commitment to the cause of cornea donation; 
(7) Ability to travel 30% of the time, nationally and/or internationally; 
(8) Strong commitment to ethics and professional integrity.
