MSF currently runs
projects in the states of Bihar, Delhi, Manipur, Maharashtra, Jammu &
Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and West Bengal. In 1996, MSF
received the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development, and in
1999 MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize
MSF
India is one of 24 offices and operational centres in Europe, America, Asia and
Australasia, pooling funding, expertise and staff for MSF field operations. MSF
India has three key objectives in support of field operations: the recruitment
of skilled medical and non-medical staff, the raising of vital funds, and
public information work.

strategy and guideline
|
1.
Contributes in writing the MSF India Editorial strategy in line with
the overall MSF India Communication strategy and under the direction of the
Head of Communications.
2.
Develops and updates the editorial guidelines document to be shared
with all departments and entities of MSF in India and in line with MSF India
Editorial strategy.

Editing

3.
Proof reads and edits all materials produced by MSF India
including events specific
communication materials, reports, press releases, briefing documents,
interviews, brochures/leaflets, Fundraising communication materials, NISAR
(South Asia Regional Association’s newsletter), etc.

Generate content and Writing
|
1.
In charge of briefing and debriefing MSF India expats (in
collaboration with the Media Coordinator, the Medical Press Officer and
supported by the HR department)
2.
Writes “Letter from the field” (Stories of returning expats from the
field)
3.
Writes stories of patients and MSF India staff (Other than expats)
4.
Conceptualizes, proposes Editorial line and writes the offline donor
magazine/newsletter in collaboration with the Loyalty Officer (Fundraising
department).

1.
Supported by the Content and
Social Media Officer, organizes the weekly Editorial meeting with the larger
Communication team and members of the Digital Cell, to decide key content to
be pushed online and offline in accordance of the Editorial guideline and the
overall Communication strategy
2.
Attends regularly scheduled
departmental meetings to share information, brainstorm solutions, and
coordinate priorities.
3.
Participates in planning and
implementation of MSF-India’s communications strategies, policies and
procedures.
4.
Carries out any duties that may reasonably be required
by the Communication Coordinator and/or Head of communications in the light of
the main purpose of the job.
5.
Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings, in-office
presentations/debates to stay informed on important MSF topics.

We offer:
- Salary Gross (INR): 68959 per month (non-negotiable)
- 15 days annual leave; 12 days paid leave as per specified list of holidays; Sick/Casual leave of 12 working days as per calendar year (pro-rated based on hire date).
