1. POSITION VACANT: Coordinators- Corporate Marketing, (CCM; 3 vacancies), Save the Children, Gurgaon, Chennai and Mumbai
2. ORGANISATION BACKGROUND:
Save the Children, Bal Raksha, Bharat (SC BR) is India’s leading independent child rights’ organization and works in 18 states across the country, to make a difference in the lives of the most socially-excluded children.
SC BR’s work in the areas of Child Education, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection and Humanitarian Response & Disaster Risk Reduction has benefitted lakhs of children in India and last year alone reached over 8.5 lakh children. The organization has existed in India since pre-Independence days.
SC BR is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance coalition, a global network of organisations working for the betterment of the most disadvantaged children in more than 120 countries in the world.

Save the Children BR (SC BR) is looking for an outstanding professional to lead the development and consolidation of a framework for impact assessment and learning through which SC BR will be able to build the evidence base for advocacy, measure progress towards the achievement of its objectives, build accountability to stakeholders, and continually improve its work on the basis of learning.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Coordinators- Corporate Marketing (CCMs) shall be responsible for mobilizing corporates and their foundations to contribute resources in support of Save the Children’s objectives and activities and positioning Save the Children, as the leading child rights organization, among current and potential corporate contributors.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(A) Strategy and Financials
(1) Establish and manage existing alliances and partnerships, and explore new ones to increase the organisation’s reach and the resources generated;
(2) Take part ownership of the Corporate Marketing budget and help ensure that controls are in place to monitor and report on income and expenditure;
(3) Generate resources and maintain operational costs in order to achieve and exceed the budgeted levels of profitability;
(4) Maximize resource generation from corporate donors: achieve and exceed the financial/non-financial targets for Corporate Marketing income through activities such as
(a) Maintaining and updating database of existing and potential organisations
(b) Presentations and discussions with key people within the organisations
(c) Advertisements, website links and invitations for donations
(d) Event partnerships, marketing partnerships and sponsorships
(e) Product development (CRM, DPF, PG etc.).
(B) Process and Communication
(1) Ensure timely, accurate, and effective donor servicing (viz., mailers, annual reports, receipts, forms, information requests, activity status updates, tax certificates, queries, field visit requests, invitation for events, etc) towards relationship building and retention;
(2) Ensure timely, accurate and quality MIS for the function;
(3) Contribute to the development of relevant fundraising communication materials for various needs: electronic and print as relevant for Corporate Marketing;
(4) Ensure that all communications are consistent with the Save the Children brand and that Save the Children’s name and logo rights are protected at all times;
(5) Ensure effective coordination with Programme, Advocacy & Policy and other functions as required for exchange of information and work needs.
(C)  Other
(1) Promote the work of Save the Children – communicating, both internally and externally, in an accurate, sensitive and motivating fashion; 
(2) Ensure that all marketing activities comply with applicable law at all times, including compliance with data protection legislation;
(3) Understand and be an advocate, internally and externally, for the values of Save the Children; 
(4) Other duties as required in line with your skills, experience and role.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicants must possess a Post-Graduation in Marketing/ PR from a recognised institute.
Experience:
Applicants must possess three to five years of relevant experience in a competitive market environment – preferably in a client interfacing role.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Strong interpersonal skills;
(2) Strong negotiation and influencing skills; 
(3) Strong analytical and numerical skills;
(4) Should have a good understanding of project management and willingness/ability to work with multiple stakeholders;
(5) Excellent communication and presentation skills;
(6) Excellent knowledge of Office IT packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
(7) Willingness to travel within India and internationally;
(8) Willingness to work irregular hours when the job dictates (such as for events, in emergency response times etc);
(9) Strong commitment to the aims and objectives of Save the Children.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED: 
The offered compensation for this position is attractive and competitive to market rates. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
