Responsibilities
The supply chain IT officer will be responsible for following tasks towards smooth implementation of the eVIN solution in all assigned districts:
  • Supervise and support all Vaccine Logistics & Cold Chain Manager (VCCM) in the assigned districts in their assigned tasks.
  • Support preparation of fortnightly workplan with VCCMs for timely completion of planned visits and activities.
  • Support in district training programmes with delivery / quality control of technical contents related to eVIN software & Temp Loggers.
  • Assess technical capacity of VCCMs, and other district staff, on eVIN software and Temp logger operations / minor troubleshooting and provide hands-on support.
  • Regularly check functional status of eVIN software & Temp Loggers for resolution, and escalate to operationalize dysfunctional equipment, mobiles or software with State HR and Ops Lead if local level resolution not possible.
  • Identify training needs on eVIN software/ Temp Loggers based on field visit and user feedback, to suggest corrective action, including Job-Aids.
  • Help RCHO & other district staff in development and production of MIS reports from the system as and when required.
  • Resolution, escalation and coordination with lower nodes for eVIN related problem. Follow up with call-centers on regular basis, for resolution of escalated pending cases.
  • Validate stock transactions and temperature records in all /upto 5 Cold Chain Points every month, where eVIN has been implemented for atleast 2 months. Stock transaction (All antigens, dropper, diluent and syringes) includes stock registers, issue /receipt vouchers, vaccine distribution register, eVIN mobile phone entries and online (web) entries. Temperature records include temperature logbook entries for twice daily temperature records, alerts and breaches and their corresponding records on eVIN software/ alerts.
  • Verify data integrity / accuracy of system developed reports from eVIN software from mobile/ web based solution / Temp Logger.
  • Coordinate with UNDP Project Officer at regional / cluster level.
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange visits in consultation with VCCMs and State CB Lead.
  • Undertake field visits for 15 days in a month, prioritizing districts which are lagging behind in implementation of project activities.

Education
Bachelor Degree or equivalent in computer Science / IT / Computer Applications/supply chain/ engineering/public health/Business Administration

Experience
  • 3 years’ experience in implementation of IT / MIS or e-governance project, software development / testing and management of data.
  • Candidates with health sector experiences will be preferred.
  • Fluency in English & Hindi (spoken and written).
  • Local language of the state posted will be an asset.
