2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
The Foundation
for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), is a leading non-for-profit
organization based in Geneva, Switzerland, dedicated to developing diagnostics
for poverty related infectious diseases.
FIND
is headquartered in Geneva and currently represented in India through a Liaison
Office in Delhi and recently registered as a not-for profit company under
section 8 of the Companies Act in India. FIND facilitates the
development and implementation of diagnostic tools for poverty-related
diseases. The foundation is presently engaged in the development of new
diagnostic techniques for TB, HIV, Hepatitis C, Malaria and neglected tropical
disease),

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Human
Resources Officer (HRO) shall be working with the Head of FIND
India at FIND’s
office in India, and in close collaboration with the team at FIND
HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
(1)
Responsible for providing an advisory and consultancy service to staff and
management on a range of human resources issues, procedures and policies consistent
with FIND procedures and policies;
(2) Coordinating annual appraisals and and maintaining appraisal reports;
(3) Undertaking quality assurance check with field external consultants and management to ensure effective meeting of guidelines and standards;
(4) Identifying, reviewing, and advising on tasks related to recruitment process and employment strategies to meet human resources requirements;
(5) Coordinating and participating when requested as a selection panel member in recruitment process, including selection, appointment process, preparing reports;
(6) Liaising with external consultant HR agency regarding issues related to procedures and policies of human resources and management to ensure effective meeting of guidelines and standards and trouble-shooting on any issues that arise;
(7) Reviewing and recommending adaptation of existing FIND HR SOPs and handbook policy as well as investigate research and propose need for new SOPs or policies;
(8) Preparing replies for HR-related issues and seek approval regarding Global Fund Local Funding Agent queries;
(9) Assisting in development of HR component of FIND MIS software; maintain and update database;
(10) Any other responsibilities as identified from time to time by the Head of Operations and/or the Head of FIND India;

4. QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields from an accredited institution and other related field;

Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of HR Experience, desirably in a public health environment;

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
The incumbent must able to demonstrate the following personal

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
FIND India is a progressive
paymaster and endeavors to position itself at par with leading international
non-profits working in the area of public health in India.
Gross
compensation budgeted for the positions shall be in the range of Rs.12 lacs per
annum. Offers made to selected candidates shall be commensurate with
qualifications, experience and salary history.
6. NATURE OF APPOINTMENT:
The
selected candidate shall be initially offered a one year consultancy contract
and likely to continue till December, 2017.
