Job Title: Asst
Manager - Monitoring and Evaluation
Job Summary:
The
Asst Manager- Monitoring & Evaluation (ME) will manage the day to day
monitoring and evaluation activities to the Project / Programme requirements
programs running on pan-India; including working with program staff, external
consultants, implementing partners and key stakeholders.
This
is a full-time position based in New Delhi. Reporting to Manager -
Monitoring & Evaluation .
The Ast. Manager - Monitoring and Evaluation will
have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Execute the
activities of the M& E as planned
- Work on
monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures at ground
- Carry out
the study and survey and co-ordinate with the Project Managers /
Supervisors
- Understanding
of the key indicators and the objective of the project
- Monitor all
project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the
project output;
- work
on logical frame work/ RBMF or other monitoring tools;
- Monitor and
evaluate overall progress on achievement of results; suggest for
corrective measure
- Provide
feedback to Manager- M&E on project strategies and activities;
- Report the
activities of the project to the line manager
- Provide
inputs, information and statistics & MIS report
- Perform
other duties as required;
- Assist
Programme Manager/ Manager- Monitoring & Evaluation in the preparation
of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations;
Core Competencies:
- Planning ,
coordinates and organises work
- In-depth
knowledge on MIS, M&E and development issues
- Excellent
knowledge of monitoring and the application of methodology:
- Good
understanding of capacity assessment methodologies; excellent ability to
identify significant capacity building opportunities;
- Focuses on
result for the client
- Demonstrates
openness to change and ability to manage complexities
Required Skills and Experience
Experience:
- 2-5 years
of experience in M & E design and implementation of M&E/MIS in
development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/
Government;
- Experience
& Knowledge in designing tools and strategies for data collection,
analysis and production of reports;
- Proven ICT
skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database
software;
- Expertise
in analyzing data using statistical software;
- Strong
training & facilitation skills.
