Children International is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to alleviating the burdens and effects of poverty on Indian children.
Our child sponsorship program provides medical, educational, material and emotional aid to impoverished children in the country. We provide sponsored children with the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential.
Our mission is to bring real and lasting change to children living in poverty. In partnership with our contributors, we reduce their daily struggles, invest in their potential, and provide them with the opportunity to grow up healthy, educated and prepared to succeed and contribute to the society.
Our vision is that every child graduates from our program as a healthy, educated, self-reliant adult with the ability and drive to break free from poverty while improving their own communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for recruiting, leading, training and guiding a team of 7-10 fundraisers for Individual fundraising through face to face, door to door, street campaigns etc.
  2. Achieve individual as well as teams agreed income targets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  3. Responsible for agreed target achievement and work within agreed expense and cost/income ratio.
  4. Ensure the team is well equipped with various fundraising tools and methods.
  5. Responsible for following system and procedures and usage of right training and information.
  6. Timely and regular training to fundraising staff both on the field and off the field.
  7. Undertake monitoring and evaluation on regular basis of the fundraising team based on job responsibilities of an individual and on target vs. achievements as agreed.
  8. Responsible for Performance review of the team members.
  9. Responsible for Co-ordination with his/her line manager on target vs. achievement and for implementation of various strategies and guidelines on the ground provided by the line manager.
  10. Maintaining, updating and review the daily call back report of his/her team.
  11. Explore, coordinate and implement successful fundraising methods from other colleagues and offices.
  12. Share the leads and information of the contact persons in various corporates & residential with the Territory Manager to seek corporate permissions & residential permissions etc to upscale and improve existing Individual fundraising activities.
  13. Develop and protect Children International India’s brand status.
  14. Other responsibilities as and when assigned by the line manager.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years in face to face fundraising in a NGO, sales and marketing preferably in direct marketing like door to door, street fundraising/marketing etc.
Education:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. MBA’s preferred.

  • Existing network within corporate sector would be desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of the donor community in India would be desirable.

  • Excellent team player innovative, aggressive & persistent.

Main Characteristics of the position:
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday – 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM
  • Type of Contract – Regular
  • 2.4 to 3.6 lacs per annum depending upon right candidate for the profile.
