CRY - Child Rights and You is India’s premier child rights NGO. We work to ensure lasting change in children's lives by ensuring child rights through community empowerment. We do this by working with grassroots-level NGOs, their communities and children, influencing govt. policies, raising funds, monitoring and efficiently disbursing funds, by creating awareness and mobilizing people’s opinion on child rights.

Your Role:

•             Contribute to enhancing the quality of programming across the regions by compiling and sharing the analysis of programme MIS in regular periodicity with the Programme Heads.
•             In consultation with the Functional Director and the Programme Heads facilitate the development of programming framework for each of the goal areas defined by CRY;
•             Facilitate synergies across the regions within the DS function towards ensuring programme cohesion across regions.
•             Track the organizational progress towards goals against the milestones articulated under each goal and offer suggestions/recommendations for any course correction if required.
•             Facilitate the rolling out of the Results Based Monitoring systems within CRY and help establish a robust monitoring and evaluation system for CRY.
•             Maintain a national data base on critical indicators across goals and provide a national picture against these indicators with a view to helping the Function to develop programming strategy.
•             With the support of the FD and inputs from the regions, drive the strategy process for the Development Support Function.
•             Consolidate organizational learning across each of the goals in the form of documentation of learning, best practices, approaches that did not work etc
•             With inputs from the region, design and facilitate capacity building programmes on identified themes for CRY programme staff.
•             Keep abreast of trends in programming in the sector and share the knowledge in the function;
•             Facilitate cross learning through sharing information and knowledge from across the regions as well from one’s own experience.
•             Ensure Consolidation of data for national campaigns/ suggest data points for national campaigns
•             Assess and anticipate probable challenges in the function and alert FD
•             Support Policy Advocacy sub-function in developing an organizational advocacy strategy for each goal area by seeking and consolidating inputs from the Regions as well as contributing to the process.
•             To manage HO level partnerships for the Development Support Function;
•             To oversee and monitor the implementation of Grant Sanctioning System of CRY;
•             To sanction grants for initiatives across the country as per CRY’s Grant Sanctioning System
•             Track disbursals for the function nationally in addition to sanction and offer Functional analysis of the same;
•             With inputs form FD draft functional guidelines for the allocation of resources and unspent balances to be finalized with inputs from Regions.
•             To interact regularly with the Financial Risk Management(FRM) team on behalf of the DS function with a view to both receiving a regular overview on the partner assessment process by FRM team and for highlighting challenges if any faced by the regions in the implementation of the recommendations made by the FRM team.
•             Represent CRY at relevant Development sector Fora
•             Work closely with the Resource Generation team for developing proposals towards fund raising
•             Contribute to the development of an Emergency Preparedness Plan for CRY;
•             Facilitate the implementation of Child Protection Policy within Development Support function across the regions

You:

You must be a post graduate in Social Sciences, Social Work or Rural Development. You must have 10 to 15 years of experience including 5 to 7 years in a regional lead role. Your strengths should be in areas of strategizing, programming, monitoring and evaluation, analyzing large scale quantitative data sets, capacity building and team building
