Indo-Global Social Service Society, established in 1961,is a National Development Organization having presence in many states of India and works on the theme of”Empowerment”in the following core areas:Sustainable Livelihood,Youth development,Urban Poverty,Gender,Developing a Cadre of Leaders and Disaster Risk Reduction.

IGSSS invites applications for the full time position of Coordinator-Block Level Federation for our Regional Office in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities:

•To ensure forward planning for Block Level Federation (BLF), concurrent monitoring and evaluation of Federation activities

•To ensure completion of all planned activities related to forums and convergence in the different project location under Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha & Uttar Pradesh

•Ensure effective linkages with all federal structure and other minded organizations for convergence and self sustenance of the programme

 •Ensure guidance to each field level mentor & facilitation the process of transformation to make programme accountable to various stake holders

•Coordinating,reporting and mentoring of  field level mentor

•Timely field visits to ensure and track the results set by each Block Level Federation

Core competencies required:

•Awareness of various development issues

•Experience in Programme planning and monitoring

•Must possess leadership skills

•Proficiency in Hindi is a must and understanding of Odiya will be an added advantage

•Willingness to travel is a must

Qualifications and experience

•Post graduate in the field of Development preferably in Social Sciences

•4-5 years of experience in working in the area of advocacy and forwarding CBO and Federations
