Project Brief: PIPPSE
The HIV/AIDS Partnership: Impact through Prevention, Private Sector and Evidence- abased Programming (PIPPSE) Project will be managed by a Consortium, led by PHFI as the Principal Recipient and, Futures Group and Population Services International (PSI), as Sub Recipients. The PIPPSE Project aims to "strengthen the institutional and human capacity in prevention programs and private sector engagement through innovative approaches to contribute to achieving the goal of accelerating the reversal Of HIV epidemic at the national and state levels. In order to achieve these goals, there is a need to develop a complete web-based system to track patients and service delivery. The overall scope will be to develop a system where patients can be tracked using a tracking number in terms of clinics they visit, care they receive, drugs received etc. The system will be able to generate reports on usage statistics, patient wise information, facility wise information, care giver wise information etc. The software along with the web-based reporting platform will also be augmented with SMS based operations, and Android based operations.

Job Description:
  • Collection, collation & compilation of data from the Thane district level Targeted Interventions (TIs)
  • To communicate with NGOs for various purposes: non–reporting, errors in reports, data collection, workshops/ meetings/ reviews, etc.
  • To compile the Monthly Reports submitted by TIs and draft the report to be submitted to various partners – MSACS, PIPPSE, DAC, USAID
  • To support TIs in submission of their monthly reports in the requisite formats
  • Provide time to time update to Program Manager (M&E) and Team Leaders on TI performance, program data analysis and share feedback
  • Participate in the review meetings, joint visits/ review, trainings and workshops
  • To support in Needs Assessment and field visits
  • To participate in Monthly/ Quarterly MIS Reviews/ workshops & provide feedback to NGOs
  • To support and participate in Technical Audit & DQA of PIPPSE project
  • Assist & conduct sessions in various MIS related trainings
  • Involve in Pre-Transition and Post-Transition assessment of core TI NGOs
  • Undertake field visits for monitoring, evaluation activities & Data Quality Assurance (DQA)
  • Assist the Program Manager (M&E) and PIPPSE Thane team in undertaking other activities / events and documentation
  • Any other additional work as directed by Reporting Officer / Team Leader

Qualification, Competencies / Skills required
  • Graduate / Post – Graduate in any disciple
  • High level of computer proficiency with specific familiarity with commonly used Windows, MS Office software and database software
  • Fluency in English, Marathi and Hindi
  • Knowledge of public health perspective and HIV/AIDS in particular will be desirable
  • Work experience in HIV/ AIDS field is desirable

  • Ability to manage the team’s performance
