A DFID Initiative in Afghanistan

GRM Futures Group is seeking applications for Team Leader- Institutional/Organizational Development to lead a DFID initiative to continue strengthen licit agricultural markets, and minimise incentives to revert to opium production, by delivering a critical mass of investment and services in the agricultural sector focused on targeted provinces and rural districts in Afghanistan.

Selection Criteria:

• Degree in Agriculture/Rural Development from a recognised university with post graduate training in production/farming systems approaches
• At least 15 years-experience of agricultural project or rural development in an international setting, with a strong knowledge of food systems, value chain and M4P.
• Extensive knowledge of Institutional/Organizational Development with experience as a management consultant or policy advisor
• Minimum 5 years experience as Project/Team leader
• Experience working in post war reconstruction and familiarity with rural Afghanistan wold be an advantage
