We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, self-motivated, and service-orientated professional for the position of Concierge in the Corporate Services Program to assist employees as well as internal and external visitors with their general inquiries and attend to their needs in regards to housing, maintenance, catering as well as cultural events and trips, ensuring a timely and good service.

The position will be based at CIMMYT’s Main Campus (located 45 km northeast of Mexico City, Mexico).

Specific tasks and responsibilities of this position will include:

·         Act as general point for receiving complaints, requirements, needs and suggestions from employees, residents and visitors, responding appropriately and finding adequate solutions.
·         Inform managers of relevant areas about required services, e.g. maintenance, dining room, transportation etc.
·         Handle and monitor incident reports.
·         Advise employees and visitors on cultural trips and events and help to program accordingly.
·         Take part in events, assignments and general operation of the dining area, catering and accommodation area.
·         Make sure that the common areas in the housing and guesthouse complex are tidy and clean in order to provide maximum service and comfort to internal and external guests.
·         Perform any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualification, skills and attitudes:

·         Minimum of High School education (Preparatoria) plus 2 years of vocational skill in the field of Tourism, Administration or related area.
·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar positions.
·         Ability to communicate and relate effectively with others.
·         Responsible, attentive and honest person, with initiative and ample services attitude.
·         Schedule availability and occasionally works on weekends and holidays as required.
·         Good working knowledge of English is required.
