Skill Set and Job Description
Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary):

This role shall have overall responsibility to support the senior management in monitoring the execution of all projects and ensure meeting of client expectations and deliverables as per the mandate. The role holder will be required to coordinate with individual team members and the team leaders to ensure achievement of various milestones, oversee the resource allocation across projects, coordinate with the resourcing team for manpower requirements, coordinate between the Practice Heads / Team Leaders and Business Development team for technical write ups for bids and proposals, etc. 

Key Performance Areas:

·  Coordinating overall planning, management and decision making for programs
·  Ensuring the quality of the deliverables within the stipulated timelines
·  Provisioning of the necessary resources/infrastructure of all the projects
·  Monitoring the Project costs vs. Budgeted costs of the various projects being undertaken
·  Project Teams Management
·  Ensuring creating MIS
·  Ensuring required technical support for the bidding and proposal process

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Coordination
·  Prepare overall program plan for all the projects within the Practice
·  Liaise between the project team and other departments that are supposed to help in the project
·  Overseeing timely billing for all projects and collections for the vertical
·  Coordinate between the BD team and the Technical Experts for requirements of Technical write up for proposals
·  Writing the technical notes and sharing with the concerned team leader.
·  Identifying and evaluating all resources needed for the project
·  Coordinating with the resourcing and procurement team for contracting of the infrastructure required, by communicating the requirement to the procurement team and being involved in negotiating of the rates.

Budgeting and Monitoring
·  Developing project plans and budgets for the identified programs within the Practice and managing the plans of work and budgets as allocated
·  Monitoring the cost incurred vs. the budget allocated for the project
·  Request periodic project reports from individual project leaders
·  Document all project events and milestones which will aid in monitoring the project progress.
·  Ensure that each project is within budget

Team Management
·  Team Mobilization –Hiring of the staff/consultants,
·  Coordinate the activities of all project teams
·  Organize training for the individual project teams
·  Accessing training levels of the team members and recommending appropriate training
·  Maintaining Expenses and Time Burn sheets.
·  Issuing contracts and keeping track of the contracts.

Stakeholder Satisfaction
·  Communicate with all stakeholders of the program as well as the individual projects on a regular basis.
·  Ensure that client issues which are escalated are addressed and discussed with the project team and an action plan developed by them.
·  Develop client communication strategies
·  Liasoning with project clients

Project Deliverables
·  Participating in Practice Review meetings with the Practice Head
·  Oversee the implementation of all projects
·  Determine timelines and follow up on the deliverables for each project and monitor the progress of the project to ensure the progress of the project in line with the timelines and the quality parameters laid down by the client.
·  Developing TORs and assisting in project related procurements
·  Maintaining and Updating the deliverables

Qualifications
·  Post Graduate /MBA. Basic course / certification in Project Management would be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
·  Minimum 10-15years of experience in the Social, Health or Development sector project management.
·  Demonstrable experience in programme management, project delivery, quality assurance, supervising teams, managing budgets and multipleworkplans, report writing, etc.;
·  Demonstrable leadership experience; Negotiation skills.
·  Capable of taking initiatives on their own with minimum level of supervision;
·  Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate complex information verbally and in writing;
·  Result oriented approach to work;
·  Open to working in multi-cultural environments and effectively in small and large teams;
