Fundraising & Donors Contracts Manager - WaterAid (Apply by: 30 May 2014)


We are recruiting a Fundraising and Donors Contracts Manager with exceptional qualities to help us achieve our vision of a world where everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene

The position holder would need to:

· Oversee the country programme funds, funding needs and opportunities


· Develop a fundraising strategy in connection with WaterAid strategic guidelines and code of ethics

· Be able to implement fundraising and grant management procedures while seeking to maximise learning opportunities

· Be able to develop funding proposals and write high quality reports

· Establish a partnership network with donors and promote positive relationships with donors

· Monitor obligations related to funding agreements and inform the Country Representative of emerging or proven risks

· Assist the CP partners identify capacity building needs

The candidates must be fluent in French and English.

Education:

University degree (Master) in General Economics, Finance/Accounting, Social Sciences, Marketing or related fields.

Work experience:

· At least three years’ work experience in fundraising and donor contract management

· Proven experience in fundraising and a wide range of donor contracts, etc.

· Experience in partnership negotiations

· Experience in training and capacity building on fundraising

· Experience in preparing funding proposals / applications

· Excellent donor report writing skills

Skills:

· Demonstrate proven leadership and management skills

· Proven skills in strategic planning

· Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships, especially proactive productive interaction with colleagues and government agencies, NGOs and partner municipalities, private sectors donors (EU, UKAid, etc.).

· Demonstrate representation skills including developing relationships with government agencies and donors

· Commitment to WaterAid's values ​​and work style

· Demonstrate diplomacy, conflict management, team consolidation, written and oral communication skills and negotiation techniques.
