Title: Grant Manager - Acquisition

Location: New Delhi

Reports to: Program Director

Scope of the position: The Grant Manager - Acquisition reports to the Program Director. to . This role is responsible to generate grant income for ChildFund India by working with a group of technical Experts to engage donors at strategic level, build relationships with donors, lead the proposal development process, and build strategic capacity in grant acquisition and management.
Specific responsibilities will include the following:

1. Grant Acquisition
• In coordination with the Program Director develop the annual growth plan in line with the country strategy
• Research on potential donors and institutions to fund projects relevant for ChildFund India
• Develop Donor engagement strategies with participation of technical and programme teams
• Prepare and update documents like organizational capacity statements, vision strategy documents , organizational charts etc., to facilitate proposal preparation
• Develop and assist with the preparation of RFA responses, call for proposals and concept note and proposals, for submission to external donors. As part of program team represent ChildFund India to external donors.
• Manager appropriate Grants Modules in ChildFund’s BRIDGE or other system’s
• Coordinate with the Regional and International Office on Regional or Global grants opportunities
• Support program team in building the capacity of Area Offices staff on project design and proposal, development.
• Experience in Proposal Development (multilateral & bilateral)
• Working on the grants & ensuring satisfactory
o Monitoring of grants
o MIS
o Grant Reporting
o Pipeline of Proposal Bank
o Understanding on the global scenario for acquiring International grants
