MANAGER – CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Reports To: Senior Manager – Corporate Partnerships

Grade: D

Location: New Delhi

Duration: Fixed Term 3 Years

Level of Contact with Children: 3 - None or rare contact with children

Job Role:
• To acquire corporate donors and raise funds through partnerships.
• Service corporate donors (key account management).
• To ensure that the business plan targets are achieved.
• Support the line manager in day to day functioning.

Job Purpose:
• Working on Business Plans, strategies/budgets for fundraising from corporate and Foundations.
• Raising resources from corporates and building relationships.
• Writing concept notes, proposals, budgets and reports.
• Building prospective corporate pipeline and opportunity management.

Key Accountabilities/KPI/KRA’s:
• Meeting and exceeding Fundraising targets for corporate partnership.
• Creation of business proposals, customer relations and knowledge of business sector to achieve fundraising annual targets.
• Pipeline to be 3x of corporate targets month on month and annually.
• Signing partnership deals and servicing of corporate clients in order to maintain a long term relationships:
o Maintaining the corporate database – must have a quantifiable pipeline.
o Contacting corporates and exploring partnership options.
o Support communications for exploring new avenues and communication to corporate donors.
o Sign up at least 5 new corporate partnerships every year and grow the existing partnership base by 20% each in terms of FR value.
• Explore new opportunities for corporate partnerships such as employee giving or cause-related marketing Fundraising or matching grants.
• Work in close coordination with Program Implementation and Strategy team to identify potential projects for corporate support as well as for timely reporting.
• Develop Cost Effective Methods to achieve targets
• Finding relevance with Partners needs and mandates
• Build sustainable long lasting relationships with organizations, institutions and individuals

Person’s Specifications:
Graduate/Post graduate preferably in business administration or equivalent, good presentation and networking skills. Exposure and/or experience to corporate sales, key account management and relationship building in corporate world would be an added advantage.

Experience:
8-10 years of relevant experience in corporate fundraising or business development / Client Relationship Management/Key Account Management/marketing.(preferably in development sector though not essential)

Travel Requirements:
Up to 25% of the time for both local and outstation travel to conduct prospective donor visit, grant funded project visit to monitor together with Point Persons the project implementation progress and/or fulfilment of donor requirements.
