ActionAid Association is a national organisation, an affiliate of ActionAid International federation which is active in more than 40 countries across the world and is committed to fighting poverty and injustice. In India, we have been working since 1972. We currently operate out of 12 Regional Offices spread across 24 States and 1 Union Territory.

Duties and Responsibilities
      • Review the project proposals and ensuring that they are in line with the organizational goals, strategic objectives, and adherence to the financial guidelines.
• Coordinate all mandatory processes related to long & short term partnerships (eg Plans & Budgets, reviews, learning, strategic exercises, impact assessment, audits, etc) including support in funding planning and ensuring sync and quality in line with Country Strategy Paper, Regional Operational Plans and other policy documents.
• Generate reports based on various regional and national processes including Participatory Review Reflection Process, Annual Review Reflection Process, Regional Project Partner Meets, national consultations etc and feed into  regular reporting of ActionAid Association in prescribed reporting formats
• Support Programmes Unit in ensuring compliance of all mandatory reporting requirements at national, regional and international levels
• Support programme development by documenting and preparing policy briefs, critical stories of change/ success stories, draft TORs, norms and standards and guidelines and facilitating their cross learning and sharing wider in the organisaiton as well as outside.
• Develop Programme MIS reports as per need from time to time.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit Unit on the process of exit & internal audits of the partners
•          Supporting Senior Manager -Programmes in coordinating the programme function and ensure synergy with various functions of ActionAid Association.

Skills and Competencies
·         be a Post Graduate in Social Sciences/Social Work/Rural Development/ Management.
·         have at least 5 years relevant experience.
·         have sound knowledge of macro/micro development issues relating to India.
·         have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·         be a good team player and a gender sensitive co-worker.  
·         have strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups.
·         Should have excellent report writing & documentation skills
·         A strong commitment to develop, promote and practice ActionAid’s vision, mission, values, and strategy
·         have proficiency in all applications of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
·         be willing to travel as required
Salary & Benefits
Approx - INR 6.6 Lakhs CTO (Cost to Organisation)– per annum - this includes PF contribution.
In addition, other benefits - Group Medical Insurance with coverage of Staff & Dependents; Personal Accident Insurance of staff and gratuity is payable as per law and norms of the organisation.
