is a technical services organization with the experience of designing and implementing large scale public health and social sector programs across 100 countries since 1971.
We are well known as a global leader in health policy reforms, HIV/AIDS, family planning and reproductive health, safe motherhood, and child health and nutrition programs.

Futures Group is a partner in the PIPPSE Project leading the private sector engagement component. PIPPSE is a USAID/ India funded 5 year project to manage “The HIV/AIDS Partnership: Impact through Prevention, Private Sector and Evidence-based Programming (PIPPSE) Project”. PIPPSE Project is managed by a Consortium, led by PHFI as the Principal Recipient and, Futures Group and Population Services International (PSI), as Sub Recipients. PIPPSE Project aims to “strengthen the institutional and human capacity in prevention programs and private sector engagement through innovative approaches to contribute to achieving the goal of accelerating the reversal of HIV epidemic at the national and state levels.”

Job Responsibilities:


• Support the Sr. Pvt Sector Specialist / National Manager (Private Sector) in conceptualizing, designing and coordinating the private sector engagement activities under PIPPSE at National and State level with focus on implementing workplace models and service delivery models
• Contribute in providing technical assistance to develop strategic vision, milestone and roadmap for PPP under the project
• Support in providing technical assistance to SACS/TSU for implementing and monitoring PPP models
• Contribute in developing implementation plan, workplan, and reports as per the USAID requirements on periodic basis for the activities undertaken
• Develop guidelines, modules, formulating strategies for PPP models
• Support in designing and implementing quality improvement and accreditation of service providers for providing HIV/AIDS services
• Prepare concept notes, proposals, manuals and other documents on different public private partnership (PPP) mechanisms
• Support in documenting lessons learnt, best practices, success stories from implementing the PPP models
• Any other responsibilities or tasks, as required by the project management

Required qualifications: 

• A professional degree in public health, business management, international development and/or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public health with experience in the design and management of PPP initiatives
• Experience in working and collaborating with multiple stakeholders including the private sector and the Government
• Good knowledge of government policies and programs on HIV/AIDS in India as well as of the role of public and private sector
• Experience in designing and managing programs which engage the private sector in the health or HIV/AIDS sector
• Have a flair for developing innovative approaches and models in PPP

Expected Competencies: 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in working on computers
• Excellent analytical, documentation and presentation skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Hindi
• Strong business management and negotiating skills
