The basket of products includes condoms, oral contraceptives, intra uterine devices, emergency contraceptives, ORS, water purification solutions; IFA tablets; clean delivery kits and pre-packaged STI treatment kit. A. POSITION PURPOSE: 

The Program Manager NCD will function as lead in program interventions at the respective location and responsible for overall coordination and successful implementation of the project in the designated territory.

B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Development and implementation of strategic plans for assigned territory for Uday Program
2. Work with the local team and program partners to implement the BCC messages and activities.
3. Interacting with pharmacists and assist in providing training for their involvement in the program.
4. Support in hiring the local program staff.
5. Responsible for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project in the assigned territory to achieve project deliverables.
6. Review and analyze data regularly and provide feedback to the senior management for program efficiency.
7. Responsible for financial management as per the need of the program.
8. Advocate at local level Govt. & NGO agencies for supporting the program.
9. Attend any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor as per the need.

C. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Post-Graduate degree in any social sciences/management/public health
2. 5-8 years of experience in health programs/projects
3. Ability to think innovatively about program Implementation.
4. Excellent communication skills in English and local language
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both as a team member and independently.
6. Knowledge and understanding of regional social practices and behavior
7. Ability to liaison with stakeholders

D. SKILLS:

1. Desire to contribute to improved public health and an understanding of public health issues in India particularly in the respective location.
2. Strong leadership and managerial skills
3. Demonstrated understanding of research and technical medical services.
4. Strong report writing & presentation skills
5. Planning & Organizational Skills
6. A team player with strong training & mentoring skills
7. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge of regional languages would be an advantage.
8. Good computer skills.
9. Highest integrity, maturity and professionalism
10. Willingness to travel extensively in the project state’s.
